For over 20 years, The Cage Youth Foundation has been at the heart of Redlands, creating a community where every young person and family feels valued, supported, and empowered. The “Cage” stands for Creating A Good Environment, and that’s what we do every single day.
We provide spaces for connection, tools for growth, and support for those facing life’s toughest challenges. Whether it’s through counselling, youth development programs, or simply offering a safe place to be heard, our mission is clear: to inspire hope, ignite potential and build brighter futures.

The Cage Youth Foundation is more than a support service it’s a movement rooted in compassion, resilience, and community. Since 2001, we’ve been a safe haven and a guiding hand for youth and families across the Redlands Coast.
Founded by Peter and Linda Grieve, The Cage is built on a simple belief: every young person deserves a good environment to grow. Through counselling, youth programs and real-world pathways, we support wellbeing, confidence and a meaningful way forward.

For more than 20 years, young people and families across Redlands have come to us for a safe place to reset, skilled guidance and opportunities to grow. We’re here to offer a hand up, not a hand out – support that helps you build momentum and move forward in a way that feels right for you. Everything we do is driven by one simple goal: #GOMAD – Go Make A Difference.
Our counselling services address mental health challenges, helping individuals build resilience and improve well-being.
These programs foster connection and growth through skill-building workshops, educational support, and recreational activities.
Working alongside schools to provide trusted welfare and chaplaincy support that helps students feel safe and supported.
Our Social Enterprises help generate ongoing funding so our programs can keep supporting what we do.
