7-week personal development and mentoring program for girls and women. Aim: For each Girl to develop understanding of her own personal worth, strength, purpose and to realise the potential within her to achieve her dreams.

Programs are delivered through a combination of: Demonstrations & illustrations Group discussions Practical exercises Case studies & simulations
The program is presented in 7 sessions (60 to 120 minutes)
7 participants max per delivery
1 Facilitator 1-2 Co Facilitators.
Program is delivered by The Cage Youth Foundations : ANGIE BOWERS
Angie has a Diploma of Community Services specialising in youth work. She is the Manager of The Cage YF & has been working with young people for 15 years. Angie has a heart to see young women in this community mpowered & given the chance to build confidence and self worth.
Who will benefit from this program ? Girls ages 12-14
(next term will be ages 14-16 and then we also will be running a women’s 18 and over workshop so keep your eyes peeled ladies)

Our Sk8 Program is a project based workshop suitable for small groups of all ages.
The Program is a fun and relaxed environment with a tangible incentive at the end. The program can be adapted for behavior intervention, disengagement, or a positive reward program for schools.
Participants take part in designing and constructing their own skateboards from scratch;
- Intro to skateboarding (Mini ramp lessons)
- Glue up and pressing the veneer
- designing their board and creating a template
-cutting out their blank
- shaping and finishing
- applying artwork
Depending on budgets, full hardware (wheels, trucks etc.) can be supplied to complete the boards in a final build stage.
This program is suitable for both primary and high school ages and can also be adapted for a fun project based holiday program.
Students are transported to and from school on the Cage YF Bus, and participate in the workshop sessions at The Cage YF located in Redland Bay.
The Cage is kicking off a "Very Cool Holiday Program" starting Christmas Holidays January 2024!
The Program will run 3 days per week over 2 weeks
9am - 3pm
week 1: 8th, 9th, 10th January 2024
Week 2: 15th, 16th, 17th January 2024
For ages 7 - 17 yrs
Cost is $50 per day with limited spaces
Participants must BYO lunch, hat, and water bottle
Morning and afternoon tea is provided each day
This mentoring style Program focuses on developing relationships, social interaction, and building positive emotional toolkits
